She made the wrong choice again,
He was better, the other was not;
But she’s with the other
And he is without

Slapped again she still returns
But this time dripping
In her foolish guilt
While he sits sipping.

Mocked and tormented
She still accepts the ring
For his the man for sure
Her change can bring.

In bitter ages she mocks the race
That yelled and hit and forced
Her happiness away–
It makes no sense!

Rather she should mock her choice
When he was peace,
The other was not;
Instead she mocked the entire race.

She had her chance
To be with peace;
But she’s with the other
And she is without!
